1. TROEGS MAD ELF

The holidays at Tröegs start with our inner Mad Elf momentarily taking over the brew deck. So blame “him” for this cheerful ruby red creation reminiscent of ripened cherries, raw honey and cocoa with notes of cinnamon, clove and allspice. ABV: 11.0%

2. LOST ABBEY GNOEL DE ABBEY HOLIDAY ALE

Mischievous Merry Makers, it must be tough to be a gnome. It’s amazing they can be so happy after spending almost a year in a box tucked away in the attic, but look at them! We’re convinced they are the ultimate party animals and the epitome of youthful exuberance trapped in a ridiculously impish body. It certainly doesn’t seem like any off them have aged in over 400 years. Around our houses, everyone giggles and smiles when the Christmas gnomes come out, so we thought it was time to give them The Lost Abbey treatment. A Brown, American style Holiday Ale. ABV: 8.0%

3. D’ACHOUFFE N’ICE

When the little animals in Fairyland hibernate, the Achouffe gnomes love to gather in their cottage. By the gentle firelight, they spend long evenings telling the best Ardennes stories while enjoying a delicious N’Ice CHOUFFE. Smooth and strong, with spicy notes of thyme and Curacao, this dark beer warms both hearts and atmospheres, making even the coldest winters joyful. ABV: 10.0%

4. CORSENDONK CHRISTMAS ALE

Brewed with Pale, Munich and Caramunich malts; Kent Goldings hops. This is a rich, dark, joyous brew with which to celebrate the holiday season. It’s aroma of chocolate malt and spiciness is reminiscent of the wonderfull smells of holiday baking in Mom’s kitchen. Silky smooth on the palate, it’s predominantly malty, with smoky, spicy and citrusy notes and a long, lingering finish that is lightly tart and malty. Bottle conditioned for a fresh, lively taste. Round and well balanced, it’s a welcome addition for holiday tables and beyond. ABV: 8.5%

5. THE BRUERY 10 LORDS LEAPING

Wassail is known for warmth and spices.
The tenth verse of our Twelve Beers of Christmas saga goes leaps and bounds beyond a traditional winter warmer, drawing inspiration from the dark, spiced ales from Belgium and our love for experimental brewing in SoCal. 10 Lords-A-Leaping is a dark imperial wit ale featuring 10 different spices, which complement the spiced notes imparted from the yeast and prance upon the rich, dark fruited character of the specialty malts. ABV: 10.5%

6. DUBUISSON SCALDIS NOËL

The Scaldis Noël is brewed solely from malts, hops, candy sugar and water. It is a filtered, top-fermented beer with an alcohol volume of 12%. The use of caramel malts produces a copper-coloured beer with a full, rounded taste. The Scaldis Noël owes its fruity taste and subtle hop aromas to the well-thought out choice of hops in this brew. ABV: 12.0%

7. VON TRAPP TRÖSTEN LAGER: 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs | 4/6/12 cases

Trösten translating to “comfort beer”, a dark lager with rich notes of chestnut and toast. Carafa and smoked malts create rich flavors lingering on a surprisingly light, smooth finish. Brewed for the cold winter nights in Vermont, but can be enjoyed on any occasion. ABV: 6.0%

Elf’s IPA is brewed exclusively with pale malt while Citra and Calypso hop flavors dominate, contributing to the tropical melon flavor and citrus undertones. 10. BRONX WINTER PALE ALE: 4/6C cases

An amber colored pale ale brewed with cinnamon, molasses, cloves & ginger that delivers a delightful winter spiced flavor. Our brewmaster is mildly obsessed with ginger snap cookies this time of year so we decided to brew this spiced pale ale to celebrate his addiction. A blend of malts create honey, biscuit and dark caramel flavors which are gently balanced out by woody, minty hop bitterness and aroma. We introduced whole ginger, molasses, hand-picked cloves and cinnamon to this brew to create the ideal pale ale to enjoy during the winter holiday season. ABV: 6.7%

No silly spices here… our Winter Warmer redefines the term full-bodied, with its monster malt bill, and extended cold aging, delivering deep, incredibly developed malt richness. British and American hops bring an even bitterness to the party and a 9% ABV, the jolly, warming finish. ABV: 8.9%

17. TWO ROADS HOLIDAY ALE

Two Roads Holiday Ale is inspired by the little known Biere de Noel style, a subset of Biere de Garde, both of which originated on small farmhouse breweries in the north of France. Biere de Noel, which translates as “Christmas Beer,” tends to exhibit a more malty profile than a typical Biere de Garde. ABV: 7.3%

18. WEYERBACHER BERRY MONKS

Berry Monks is a variation on our classic Belgian Tripel, Merry Monks, brewed with cranberries, orange peel and ginger.
