Spirits Manager

Branchburg, NJ – Hunterdon Brewing Co. – Sales


TITLE: Blueprint Spirits Manager

SUPERVISOR: General Manager Blueprint Brands & Sales Manager Hunterdon

OBJECTIVE: To ensure the successful growth of the Company’s market share, and to ensure the continued growth of sales and distribution while maintaining control of expenses.


     -Maintaining effective customer relations and promoting the goodwill of the company throughout the New Jersey market.
     -Ensure Blueprint sales performances meet volume, gross profit and revenue objectives.
     -Prepare, analyze and manage the budget including forecasts and expenditures
     -Supervise and direct Spirits Sales Reps to ensure the greatest possible sales and distribution of products, and maintain morale and motivation
     -Implement and execute the marketing strategies of the Company
     -Schedule personnel to cover promotional activities
     -Handle supplier relations as they relate to the NJ market
     -Identifying and emphasizing sales and placements in key accounts
     -Organizing the sales department’s structure including assigning accounts, territories, and product lines
     -Recruitment, selection, and training of the sales force
     -Review of customer credit status and shipments with the Credit Manager
     -Assist in projecting sales and in ordering products
     -Preparing monthly sales objectives and plan of action related to business activities
     -Maintain awareness of industry and responding to new developments
     -Successful sale, distribution and placement of all distillery products
     -Conduct monthly control and review sessions with management
     -Develop new accounts and new placements
     -Execute monthly goals related to business activities as assigned by management
     -Coordinate communication between departments and within department
     -Special projects as assigned


     -Bachelor’s degree
     -Knowledge of legal requirements regarding the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages
     -Excellent managerial, communication and leadership capabilities
     -Willingness to obtain MBA
     -Direct experience in the beverage industry, specifically Liquor
     -Valid and clean driver’s license
